Selfoss is a dramatic waterfall on the river Jokuls a Fjollum in northern Iceland. It originates as ice melt from the Vatnajokull Glacier. The water flows on to several other waterfalls including Dettifoss before emptying into Oxarfjordur and then on into the Arctic Sea. The people on the rocky ledge near the top of the waterfall give the viewer an appreciation for its height.
