I photographed this Icelandic horse as his mane was being whipped by the relentless Icelandic wind. The hardy Icelandic horse is a unique breed brought to Iceland by the Vikings. The hardy breed has a double layer coat to protect it from the harsh Icelandic climate. It is the only horse that can tolt.
